Curriculum

We are always interested in expanding and enriching our curriculum.  Currently, we teach lessons about:

  • Food groups
  • The Food Pyramid and My Plate
  • Gardening and sustainability
  • Exercise
  • Vitamins and nutrients
  • Dietary fiber
  • Antioxidants
  • Complex carbohydrates
  • Fats and cholesterol
  • Sodium intake
  • Portion sizes
  • Food advertising
